Getting enough sleep is important for our health. During busy and stressful times, it's not uncommon we lose track of getting the rest our bodies need. Getting the right amount of hours of sleep per night is essential for every facet of our lives.
On the iPhone's health app, you can track sleep goals, adjust personal bedtime and wakeup times, enable sleep screen, and add wind down shortcuts. You can also track your sleep on your Apple Watch if you've paired the two beforehand - but you can transfer this data at any time.
How to setup Sleep
Open the Health app.
Scroll down to the Set Up Sleep section and tap Get Started.
Tap Next.
The next screen will prompt you to set up a general sleep goal. Next, you'll set how many days you want Sleep to be active as well as bedtime and wakeup times.
Afterwards, enable whichever settings you'd like enabled - sleep screen and wind down shortcuts.
Now, you can view all of your sleep data within the Sleep menu.
